Keeping your boat in tip-top condition means keeping its engines well maintained and in good working order, and here at Cox’s we are experts in servicing both inboard and outboard engines. Our annual and six-monthly services are aimed at prolonging engine life and reducing the possibility of breakdowns when you are out on the water, and both inboard and outboard engines can be winterised and de-winterised by our fully trained staff.
Our state-of-the-art facilities enable us to work on outboard engines ranging from 3.5hp to 90hp (and bigger) to provide full servicing and testing on models such as Honda, Marina, Yamaha, Mercury and Suzuki, as well as many others. We also offer winter storage on outboard engines so that they can be serviced out of season and be back in situ for a spring launch. Using our modern lifting equipment, we raise the boats out of the water and move them into our brand new workshop, where we utilise our many years of experience and unrivalled range of tools to maintain, service and repair the engines over the winter months.
Our inboard services are available for engines ranging from 10hp to 60hp and above, and we specialise in BMC 1.5, Perkins, Nanni, Yamaha, Vetus, Beta and Volvo engines.
All services include checks and maintenance of the fuel and cooling systems, as well as a thorough overhaul of all the essential components that ensure a smooth-running craft. The price we quote will include all parts and labour, and give you the peace of mind that your boat will be in prime condition for launch.
